Registration and Ownership

Active Media is a small business based in Sydney, Australia, and was begun by Daniel on the 24th of September, 1997.

Active Media is registered and supplies web design, web development and web products. Our core web site is http://www.active-media.com.au/, and was originally hosted as a sub-domain of Zed Connect at http://www.activemedia.zed.org/ from 1997 to 1999.

Mouse Pilot is registered and represents the freelance design and development services of Active Media, providing a quirky and unique identity for marketing purposes. Our web address is http://www.mousepilot.com.au/. A recent extension of this branding is our eccentric flash animation series, starring the Active Media logo as MousePilot.

Brief History

Originally representing a network of colleagues and friends, Active Media is a sole trading business, committed to providing on-line solutions to small business at an affordable price.

In the years since Active Media began, Daniel has designed and developed many sites for small business clients of Active Media. We have also been involved in various subcontracting work for other developers, most notably the Dutch language site "Organisatie & Management" on behalf of Muse Media and many design solutions and site developments for Iosync. 2001 has seen dynamic growth in the provision of services by Active Media, whilst also expanding the role of "Freelance Mouse Pilot". Not only as a successful marketing identifier but also as an animated character for introducing our quirky and unique approach to successful online solution generation.

Active Media remains a strong provider of customised solutions to small businesses who seek to establish an online presence.
